PURPOSE
Mechanical drum screen is designed to separate suspended solids and large organic impurities from wastewater.
THE PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Waste water directed to the unit is evenly distributed through a perforated ilter drum. Filtered water enters the outlet of the unit.
The separated waste is discharged with a scraper through a chute into a receiving container.
To clean the sieve openings, a hydraulic lushing is provided. Mechanical drum screen is made of stainless steel and has compact design therefore it can be installed in limited spaces. Mechanical drum screen is equipped with an automatic control device.
